BioProtect is an innovation action project which will develop technical, socio-economic and governance solutions to counteract marine biodiversity loss, and showcase their feasibility, replicability and scalability in other areas. Innovations will be designed and carried out in partnership with the relevant stakeholders (e.g., local fishermen, citizens) to ensure that the tested solutions correspond to their knowledge expectations and needs and to gain feedback on how to maximise impact and exploitation of results.
