BioProtect had the incredible opportunity to present its work on marine biodiversity protection from 8-10 September, at the ICES Annual Science Conference (ASC) 2024, in Gateshead, United Kingdom.
The conference brought together 773 participants, of which 264 were early-career scientists contributing to the future of marine science. More than 400 oral presentations were presented, including insights from Theme Session E: “Developing Applied Evidence for Biodiversity Conservation and Management”, while 125 scientific posters and 73 expert group posters were displayed across 5 networking sessions.
Three keynotes, 18 theme sessions, and 40+ business meetings contributed to a truly engaging event.
