On 8 April, from 10-15.30 CEST, our partner ICES, together with BlueMissionAA, will host an engaging and insightful webinar on marine ecosystem (and policy-driven) restoration, focusing on how science can inform and support effective restoration initiatives and policy frameworks.

BioProtect will be presented in a flash presentation by Sophie Jensen in the afternoon.

This webinar builds upon insights from the recent Workshop on Nature Restoration and aligns with the EU Mission Ocean objectives, aiming to refine methodologies for ecosystem restoration and support effective policy frameworks.

Key discussions during the webinar will include:

  • Adapting marine science to support policy frameworks for restoration targets.
  • Identifying research gaps to enhance restoration strategies.
  • Exploring success stories and best practices in marine restoration.
  • Tailoring restoration methods for various ecosystem components and environmental conditions.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with experts and contribute to the future of marine ecosystem restoration!

Participation is free, but registration is required. The webinar will be recorded and shared via ICES and BlueMissionAA.
